Like many of our SMARTSTARTers, I had limited funds available for purchasing professional graphic design services when I first started out. One of my all time favourite go-to educational resources for learning how to design cool stuff was Before & After Magazine.
So it was quite a shock when B&A founder, John McWade, recently announced he was ceasing publication of new issues and letting go of the business he’d started and worked so hard to build because he’d decided to join lynda.com full time.
John is one of my absolute favourite graphic designers and I learned a lot from him over the years going all the way back to the early desktop publishing days!
On his web site, Before & After Magazine, you’ll learn how to design professional-looking web pages, brochures, presentations, logos, ads, business cards, magazines, business documents, posters, and more.
